Meet Felicity Makris
Felicity initially qualified as a Registered Nurse in 2011 and has since worked in multiple clinical roles across both Australia and the United Kingdom. Having developed hands-on experience in the public and private sectors, as well as in primary and secondary care, Felicity has an aptitude for delivering holistic, evidence-based care within a range of settings.
Prior to her career in nursing, Felicity worked for a large contract research organisation (Covance) as a histologist in preclinical trials and has also held multiple customer-facing roles within the retail sector.
Felicity graduated from the University of Leeds with an Honours Degree in Medical Sciences and a Master of Nursing.
With her extensive clinical knowledge and drive for patient advocacy, Felicity will assist in identifying under-resourced areas in the medical industry by examining the unmet health needs of the Australian population.
Using relevant local and national health data, liaising with service users and providing a first- hand clinical perspective, Felicity is committed to the continuing success and development of Interstellar Capital and its investors.
